Investment Manager
I am looking for an Investment Manager to join a new venture capital fund that is investing in the most successful Spanish and European climate tech startups.
Its main goal is to invest in exceptional teams that generate systemic change through technology to ensure a more sustainable world. Its contribution consists in identifying committed entrepreneurs with innovative ideas and support them to generate profitable business.
To this end, they co-invest with top-tier Venture Capital firms, Business Accelerators and Venture Builders.
TU FUNCIÓN
As an Investment Manager, you will be responsible for:
● Be actively involved in the deal flow management process
● Conduct extensive and deep startups due diligence
● Deal structuring for venture debt and convertible notes
● Active role in drafting investment memos and preparing materials to be presented in the investment committee
● Active role in preparing investor reporting materials
● Portfolio management. Foster synergies across portfolio companies
● Foster relationships with the main domestic and international VC investors and the entrepreneurial ecosystem

TU PERFIL
What are we looking for?
● 5 to 7 years of previous experience in investment banking and/or consulting at a top tier firm
● Previous experience in the venture capital and/or startups ecosystem is a plus
● Previous experience in sustainability and managing climate technologies
● Highly analytical mindset and strong interpersonal skills
● Passion for the digital sector and entrepreneurial mindset
● Ability to clearly communicate ideas and influence cross-functional teams
● Ability to present complex information in simple terms
● Fluent in English and Spanish
● Strong skills within project management, critical thinking, communication and administration
